Terra Nova, in conjunction with the Elf Foundation, is in the process of constructing a multimedia room as a charitable contribution to the new West Tower Expansion at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin campus in Wauwatosa, WI. The new Teen Room will allow teenage patients to spend some time immersed in the things that all teens love: movies, music, video games, exploring the Internet, or chatting online with friends. Completion is expected sometime in spring 2009.


We recently completed a landmark residential project in Palm Desert, CA. The stunning 8,000-square foot home designed by Richard Sherer & Deep River Architects seems to explode out of the surrounding desert. It contains a bevy of motorization and automation features, including sliding glass walls, TV's that emerge from metal sculpture and a patio roof, and one of the most amazing lighting designs we've ever seen, designed by Steve Klein. Terra Nova completed an extensive update to the Trustees Room at Marquette University. It utilizes a new Crestron control system with wireless color touchpanel, an updated audio system with Revo Labs encrypted wireless microphones, and a new video system using a Panasonic projector and large Draper motorized screen.


Cannon & Dunphy S.C. retained Terra Nova for their new executive conference room. It provides playback of audio/video sources through the rooms multiple video displays and audio system, as well as the ability to record meetings & depositions via network video cameras and recorders.

Our Vice President of Software, Jeremy T. Vierck, attended the 2008 Crestron Masters class at Crestron headquarters in New Jersey. The class is an annual 3-day event for certified programmers to learn the latest programming techniques from Crestron's top staff members as well as check out new gear in developement.

Terra Nova and HGA Architects teamed up on a contribution to the Milwaukee Public Schools. The new L. Leonard Commons Area at Riverside High School provides a safe place for students to gather between classes. It includes several Sony projectors and flat-panel video displays manages by a Crestron control system.

Terra Nova completed the design/build of Time Warner Cable's Regional Network Operations Center in Columbus, OH. Analysts and technicians can monitor all facets of the company's network in the Midwest and beyond on three DaLite rear projection screens utilizing Digital Projection DLP-based dual-lamp projectors, Jupiter video wall processor and Crestron control system.

Terra Nova Integrated Systems, Inc. has qualified as an InfoComm International Silver Certified AudioVisual Solutions Provider (CAVSP), in doing so becoming the only active holder of the CAVSP designation in the State of Wisconsin. This designation recognizes that 50 percent of the regional office’s sales, customer service and technical staff have achieved and maintained individual InfoComm Certification. InfoComm awards individual Certification to audiovisual professionals who have demonstrated knowledge and comprehension of the science and technology used in communications including audio, video, display and systems. Technicians, engineers, designers, salespeople, customer service personnel, managers and executives are eligible to take the individual certification test. The Certification is the only designation for professionals in the audiovisual industry recognized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and its United States representative, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Sony Electronics Inc. has designated Terra Nova as a Sony Authorized Service Center. We'll now be able to offer our customers in-house service and repairs on Sony products, including TV's, video displays and video projectors.


Crestron Electronics' residential division announced that Terra Nova was the Sales Volume Leader for the 2005-2006 fiscal year in the state of Wisconsin. Crestron manufacturers a broad line of home automation, lighting control, HVAC control, and audio/video distribution products.


Terra Nova was recently designated as a Preferred Provider of security systems by the SE Wisconsin office of Chubb Insurance. Chubb will recommend our company to their customers who own luxury homes. As the largest insurer of large luxury residences in the U.S., Chubb requires policy holders to comply with their specifications for fire, burglary and life safety systems at all insured properties.


Robert Beck has been certified as Alarm Technician I by the Wisconsin Burglar & Fire Alarm Association after completing training and testing.


Matt Gliszczinski has completed factory training on the design and programming of Panasonic KX-TDA Hybrid IP/PBX telephone systems.


Terra Nova won Best Total Light Control Project, the final award of the evening at Lutron’s 2005 Excellence Awards held at the Indiana State Museum during this year’s CEDIA Expo. We had entered a 20,000 square foot residence located in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI. Highlights of the project include:
